Secretary-General discusses with the Ambassador of New Zealand in Iraq the processes of stability, reconstruction and investment
The Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, Dr. Mahdi Al-Alaq, received the Ambassador of New Zealand in Iraq, Mr. Bardley Saouden, to discuss bilateral relations between the two countries. The ambassador extended his congratulations to the Iraqi government for its success in supporting stability in the liberated areas. He reviewed New Zealand's past and future contributions to reconstruction programs and projects, including demining and training of Iraqi forces, and affirmed his country's commitment to continue supporting Iraq in the next phase.
