Iraq second importer for Iranian gas
Iranian statistics show that Iraq has become the second importer of natural gas with a current figure of 14 mn cubic meters daily. The first country in imports is Turkey with a figure of about 30 mn cubic meters daily. Iran signed gas contracts, the first for Baghdad with a quantity of 25 mn cubic meters daily and the second contract for Basra province, south of the country, which is under planning.
