Iraq’s Sadr to form government of technocrats in Iraq
Iraqi Shia cleric, Moqtada al-Sadr called for a government of technocrats. Al- Sadr’s remarks came after preliminary results revealed that his cross-sectarian coalition, Sairon appeared in the lead in Iraq’s parliamentary elections, meaning that the coalition will have the opportunity to form the next government.
