Iraq surpasses Saudi Arabia in exporting oil to India
Oil maritime sources reported that Iraq surpassed Saudi Arabia as the biggest oil exporter to India in August, 2018. The reports said that India moved towards the Iraqi oil to compensate its stopped imports from Iran due to US economic sanctions, due next November, 2018. The Indian imports of the Iranian oil were decreased by one third to reach 523.000 bpd in August last, in comparison to July figures.
