The US announces its intention to provide clean water to 750,000 people in Basra
US Ambassador to Iraq Douglas Silliman said on Thursday that his country intends to partner with UNICEF to increase access to clean water for 750K people from Basra, adding that his country will help organize a water conference under the auspices of the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers to identify priority projects in Basra.
