Iraq plans increasing light oil production
Iraqi oil minister Jabbar al-Luaibi stated that Iraq is planning to increase the production of the light oil to reach one million bpd in 2019. Minister Luaibi pointed that this increase will enhance the Iraqi role in oil industry. Iraq exports 3.583 mn bpd from its southern ports, which contributes to about 95% of governmental revenues.
