Outgoing Iraqi PM meets with Nechirvan Barzani in Baghdad
Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), Nechirvan Barzani, met on Wednesday with outgoing Iraqi Prime Minister Haidar Al-Abadi in Baghdad. Abadi’s media office said in a statement that, they discussed the country’s political situation, security issues and the economy, as well as bilateral relations between the central government and KRG. Both sides stressed that pending issues between Erbil and Baghdad could be resolved through dialogue and compromise.
