Optimistic KRG will submit 250,000 bpd to Iraqi government: minister
Iraqi Oil Minister Thamer Ghadhban said on Monday that he is optimistic that the Kurdistan Region would send 250,000 bopd to the State Oil Marketing Organization (SOMO) stipulated by the 2019 federal budget law. Following visit to a site in Basra, Ghadhban said that the Kurdistan Region currently exports 420,000 bopd, which is expected to rise to 550,000 bopd by the end of this year.
