Turkish consulate in Najaf approved
The Iraqi Cabinet approved opening a Turkish consulate in Najaf province. The sources said that the approval was made upon a recommendation made by the Iraqi foreign ministry. On the other hand, the Iraqi foreign ministry is finalizing procedures to open another Turkish consulate in Kirkuk, provided that Iraq will have reciprocal rights in Turkey.
