Turkey Appoints New Special Envoy to Resolve Water Disputes with Iraq
The Turkish government has appointed a new special envoy to Iraq who will be responsible for resolving issues related to water sharing between the two countries, Iraq’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said. Deputy Foreign Minister Nizar al-Khairallah said that Baghdad is waiting for the new envoy’s visit so to embark on negotiations.
