Saudi Arabia to open consulate in Najaf; Philippines to get consulate in Erbil
The federal Council of Ministers announced on Tuesday that it had approved a request from the Philippines to open a consulate in the Kurdistan Region’s capital of Erbil and for Saudi Arabia to open a consulate in Najaf. The Council of Ministers issued several decisions during its weekly meeting, including moves to open Iraqi consulates in Saudi Arabia’s Dammam province and in Canada’s largest city, Toronto.
