Germany to Keep Military Advisors in Kurdistan
Kurdistan Region’s Interior Minister Rebar Ahmed and German Defense Minister Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer met on Wednesday in Erbil to discuss the continued partnership in the efforts to counter terror. Kramp-Karrenbauer ensured the Kurdish officials that Germany will prolong the mandate to provide military trainings to the Peshmerga forces and continue its advisory role to the Kurdistan Region in the ongoing efforts to eradicate terror.
