Iraqi Leadership Holds Meeting with PMC Commanders
At the Presidential Office in Baghdad on Monday, President Barham Saleh, alongside Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi and Speaker of Parliament Mohammed al-Halbousi met with Falih Alfayyad, the Head of the Popular Mobilization Committee (PMC), and several other PMC commanders. They stressed the role played by Popular Mobilization Forces alongside the rest of the armed forces in the battles to liberate Iraqi cities and defeat ISIS and other terrorists. They also emphasized the importance of staying focused on the primary and important goal of cleansing the Iraqi lands from all traces of terrorism and not to be preoccupied with distractions.
