Germany to Continue Military Training in Iraq, Kurdistan
The German government has decided to continue its forces' military training mission in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region to assist the country with the war against the ISIS. According to a statement by the German government, the country's forces will continue until October, 2020, as part of the US-led coalition. Berlin, however, would reduce the number of its troops in Iraq from 800 to 700 as the security situation has improved in the country, the statement added.
