President Meets with Emir of Kuwait
President Barham Saleh met with King Abdullah II, King of Jordan, and Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, today at a Tripartite Summit in New York City. President Salih emphasized the importance of strengthening peace, diminishing the specter of war and improving regional dialogue between friendly regional states to prevent crises. All three leaders focused on redoubling efforts for peace in the region and noted that regional security is a task for all three states. Accordingly, Egypt, Jordan and Iraq will work together to improve security coordination and reduce the threat of terrorism.
