Prime Minister Adil Abdul-Mahdi receives the Italian Minister of Defense
The Prime Minister, Adil Abdul-Mahdi, received on Tuesday, the Italian Minister of Defense, Lorenzo Guerini, and his accompanying delegation. During the meeting, they discussed the development of Iraqi-Italian relations, the enhancement of military cooperation, and developments in the regional crisis. The Prime Minister affirmed his pride in the relations between the two countries in all fields. For his part, the Italian Defense Minister expressed the support of his country's government for the security and stability of Iraq and its national sovereignty and the intention of the Italian government to stand with Iraq.
