President Salih, meeting his Italian counterpart, underscores Iraq's stability is decisive step to eliminate extremism
The President met on Saturday in Rome with his Italian counterpart Sergio Mattarella. Jointly, the two Presidents reviewed the latest developments in the regional and international situation, further to the recent developments in the region. The two leaders discussed the Iraqi Parliament's decision on bringing an end to the presence of foreign troops in the country as well as the need to support Iraq's stability and respect its sovereignty and its national decision.
