China sends medical team and equipment to Iraq and Kurdistan Region
As part of an effort to contain the global spread of coronavirus, China has sent 200,000 face mask and six tons of medical equipment to the Kurdistan Region. KRG Minister of Health Saman Barzinji said on Sunday that the Chinese government has also promised to send additional support and medical supplies to Iraq and the Kurdistan Region in the coming days. A Chinese medical team has also arrived and will work in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region to help local authorities fight the virus.
