Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi receives the Canadian Ambassador in Baghdad
PM Al-Kadhimi received the Canadian Ambassador in Baghdad, Ulric Shannon, who conveyed to Al-Kadhimi the congratulations of the Canadian government on his assumption of the premiership. The Canadian Ambassador affirmed that his country is interested in Iraq and is eager for the success of its government and that it looks forward to increasing cooperation between the two countries, politically, security and economically, noting that the reform vision of Al-Kadhimi’s government will be effective in overcoming Iraq’s challenges.
