President receives KRG delegation
President Salih stressed the need for concerted efforts to find radical solutions for unresolved issues between the KRG and the Federal Government. These solutions should be based on the Constitution and the Law. Meeting with the delegation of Kurdistan Regional Government, headed by Deputy Prime Minister of the region, Qubad Talabani, at the Baghdad Palace, the President stated that the solutions can come only through having serious dialogue and common desire to achieve the national interest.
Furthermore, he underlined that it's essential to settle the financial issues transparently so as to maintain all Iraqis' rights, to cover salaries and staff entitlement payments. (Presidency.iq)
