Parliament's speaker mulls political developments with US Congressmen
Speaker of the Iraqi parliament, Osama al-Nujiefi, discussed with a delegation from the US Congress the latest political developments in Iraq and the Syrian crisis and its regional effects, according to a statement released from his office. "The meeting tackled the current challenges inside Iraq and obstacles facing the democratic transition in the country," said the statement. (Aswat Al-Iraq)
