Seven International oil companies selected by Iraq to bid on Nassiriya Oilfield Project
Seven international oil (IOCs) companies have been selected by Iraq, which will be allowed to bid on the Nassiriya oilfield project. Revealing this, the Ministry of Oil of Iraq also added that the construction of an oil refinery would also be a part of the project and the overall project will streamline the oil production of the country. In the prequalification phase, 14 oil companies took part for the integrated development of Nasiriya oil field, along with the construction of an oil refinery with the capacity of 300K bpd.
