he Ahli United Bank of Bahrain started to purchase 25bn shares of BCOI starting on May 24, 2016
According to the CBI approval, Commercial Bank of Iraq (BCOI) disclosed that The Ahli United Bank of Bahrain started to purchase 25bn shares of BCOI starting on May 24, 2016 which is planned to be completed in two months. The Ahli United Bank currently owns 136,785,372,988 shares of BCOI, corresponding to 54.7% shares, while its ownership will reach 64.7% after the purchase.
