Iraq Parliament Amends Provincial Elections Law Ahead of Vote
On Monday, the Iraqi national assembly voted overwhelmingly to amend the country's provincial electoral law. Deputy Speaker of Iraqi Parliament Shakhawan Abdullah said that this voting for the amendments to the provincial elections law would remove all the barriers that previously stood in the way of provincial elections in the province of Kirkuk.
