Iraq recovers $20 mn from Kuwait
On Wednesday, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Iraq Money Recovery Fund, Haider Hanoun, announced the recovery of more than $20 mn Iraqi funds through diplomatic and legal means from Kuwait. Hanoun added that the money had been withheld since 1990 and had been returned to the account of the Iraqi embassy in Kuwait.
